Consistent value, still good

I've been a member for a few years now and just renewed my Stock Advisor subscription. I initially joined on a new member discount, and the renewal promo was decent this time around too. The quality of their stock picks and market analysis has been consistently reliable, which is why I keep coming back. I also appreciate how easy it is to manage my account and turn off auto-renewal if I ever needed to, though I haven't yet. This experience was smooth, just like previous years, with no hiccups getting access to all the new reports.

Good research, slow support

I signed up for Stock Advisor last month, using the 79 dollar offer. The stock picks and analysis have been insightful so far, I'm finding the reports pretty detailed and easy to understand. Delivery of the initial materials was quick, all digital access was available right away. However, I had a question about changing my billing information and it took a full three days to get a response from customer service, which felt a bit long. Overall, I'm satisfied with the content for the price, but they could improve on their response times for support.

Amazing insights, a game changer!

I finally jumped in and got the Epic Bundle during their holiday sale, and I am so glad I did! The premium reports for Digital Explorers and Fintech Fortunes are absolutely packed with incredible information. I feel like I have such a deeper understanding of the market now. Getting started was super easy, and I had instant access to everything. This has completely transformed my investing outlook. I can't wait to see what they recommend next. Definitely shopping here again!

Hey, thinking of signing up for Stock Advisor. Is the 79 dollar deal still a thing? Or was that just like a Black Friday special?

M Matt Rodriguez 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I just got it for 79 bucks last month. It pops up pretty often, just gotta keep an eye out for it or find the right link.

I think they usually have that intro price for new members for the first year. It's not always advertised front and center, but if you look around a bit or use a specific promo link, you can usually snag it.

Can you use more than one promo code at checkout on Motley Fool? Got a referral bonus and seeing another deal.

B Brian Phillips 1 month ago
Nah, I tried that once for a renewal and it didn't work. Pretty sure it's one coupon per order.

From my experience, most places like this only let you use one code. It's usually either/or, not stacked.

How do these guys compare to Seeking Alpha or Zacks? I'm trying to decide which one to go with for stock research.

A Abigail Scott 1 week ago
Motley Fool is more about long-term growth stock picks, whereas Seeking Alpha has a lot more contributors and different analyst opinions. Zacks is good for quantitative ratings but a bit drier.

I've used both MF and SA. MF is good if you want clear, actionable stock picks with explanations. SA has a wider range of articles and sometimes more in-depth company analysis from different perspectives, but can be a bit overwhelming with the sheer volume of content. Depends on your style, I guess.

Thinking of trying Stock Advisor. What's the deal with canceling if I don't like it? Is there a money-back thing?

D Danielle Ramirez 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they have a money-back guarantee for the first 30 days. Pretty straightforward if you decide it's not for you.

I canceled my trial once. It was easy, just went into my account settings. They refunded me no problem within the guarantee period. Definitely worth checking it out risk-free.

Do they ever do monthly payment options for their subscriptions? Or is it always just one big annual payment?

S Sandra 1 week ago
Mostly annual, I think. I haven't seen monthly for the main services like Stock Advisor.

Pretty sure most of their premium services are annual only. I've only ever paid yearly for Stock Advisor and Rule Breakers.
